The personalize function works well! I keep going back to make these bottles gifts for my female family members. I have their names scribed beautifully on one side of the cup. Their coworkers (Stanley users) express envy and dismay at how beautiful these cups are. The function is great! It usually takes 2 or more days for the ice to melt. It does last lon ger if you add only cold water while using them!
