| COLDEST Gallon | Others | |
|---|---|---|
| Cold 36+ hours
Rated 36+ hours ice-cold with the lid closed, and a gallon packed with ice holds it far longer, thanks to triple-wall vacuum insulation. A plastic bottle has no insulation, so ice is gone in hours. | ||
| Hot 13+ hours
Coffee, tea and cocoa stay hot 13+ hours. Hot liquids build pressure: open the lid slowly, pointed away from you. | ||
| A full gallon, insulated
128oz: a full day of water in one fill, with triple-wall vacuum insulation. A plastic gallon jug isn't insulated. | ||
| Leakproof lids
A lab-tested, 100% leakproof seal with the lid screwed on tight. | ||
| Built-in carry handle
A padded carry handle built for a full gallon (water alone weighs about 8.3 lb). | ||
| No sweat, no metal taste
Pro-grade 18/8 stainless steel with BPA-free lids: the outside stays dry and drinks taste like drinks. Plastic sweats with ice and can hold on to flavors. | ||
| New designs every Thursday
New colors and art drop every Thursday at 9:45am ET, in limited runs. Glow designs charge in daylight or under a lamp and glow after dark. | ||

Product FAQ: Answers from COLDEST
How long does the COLDEST Gallon keep drinks cold?
Up to 36+ hours ice-cold with the lid closed, and a gallon packed with ice lasts far longer: reviewers report ice still in it after two days in a hot car. For the longest cold, fill it with ice first and top it up with cold water.
Can I use it for hot coffee or tea?
Yes. It keeps drinks hot for 13+ hours. Use care with hot liquids: pressure can build inside, so open the lid slowly and pointed away from you.
Why is my ice melting faster than I expected?
Hold times assume a bottle packed with ice and a closed lid. An open straw lid, a bottle that's mostly water, or a refill of room-temperature water all shorten them. Fill it with ice first, top it up with cold water and keep it closed. If your bottle still doesn't hold cold like it should, contact our team.
Is it leakproof?
Yes. The lid has a lab-tested, 100% leakproof seal when it's screwed on tight. If you ever see drips at the threads, unscrew it, check that the gasket sits flat, and screw it back on until it stops.
Does the Gallon fit a cupholder?
No. A full gallon is built to carry, not for cupholders: use the padded handle. For a cupholder bottle, choose the 36oz or 46oz Limitless.
See all 33 FAQs
How heavy is it when full?
A gallon of water alone weighs about 8.3 lb, so a full Gallon is a real carry. The padded handle makes it easy on your hand.
Which size should I get?
15oz: your coffee and tea cup. 24oz: the lighter everyday bottle. 36oz: the original all-day size. 46oz: the most water per fill that still fits a cupholder. 1 Gallon: a full day of water in one fill (too big for cupholders). Every size has a carry handle.
Is it dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing to protect the finish and the insulation: printed, glitter, glow and glossy designs are not dishwasher safe. Wash the bottle and lids with warm soapy water. To deep-clean a lid, soak it for 30 minutes in warm water with a little dish soap or vinegar, rinse, and air-dry it open. Never freeze or microwave the bottle.
How do the Glowie designs glow?
Glowie finishes charge in daylight or under a lamp and glow softly once the lights go out. The glow fades through the night and recharges the next day.
How often do new designs drop?
New colors drop every Thursday at 9:45am ET, in limited runs, and popular designs sell out fast.
Can I personalize it?
Yes. Choose Personalize above the add to cart button to laser-engrave a name or short phrase: up to 25 letters and numbers, no special characters. A few finishes can't be engraved, so the option hides on those designs. Personalized orders need 3 to 5 extra business days, and they're made just for you, so double-check the spelling before checkout.
What is it made of?
Pro-grade 18/8 stainless steel with triple-wall vacuum insulation and BPA-free lids. No metallic taste, and no sweating on the outside.
What if it's not right for me?
Orders from coldest.com are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee, and drinkware has a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects, including temperature retention and the leakproof guarantee. Engraved, limited-edition and final-sale items have their own rules: see Warranty & Returns.
Will a sold-out design come back?
Usually not. Designs drop as limited editions and most are gone once they sell out, so if you love one, grab it while it's here. For first access to new drops, sign up for Get the Drop at the bottom of any page, or get the COLDEST app.
Why can't I find a design I saw in an ad or a post?
It has most likely sold out. Older posts and ads can keep showing a design after it's gone. Sign up for Get the Drop at the bottom of any page to hear about new designs first.
Can I pre-order a design or join a waitlist?
No. Limited designs aren't sold as pre-orders and there's no waitlist: each drop is first come, first served when it goes live, on Thursdays at 9:45am ET.
Will this design come in other sizes?
Not always. Many designs are made in only some sizes, in limited runs. To see every design that's in stock in a size, shop by size from the Drinkware menu.
Do you make a bottle without a handle?
Can I add or change engraving after I order?
No. Engraving is added on the product page before checkout, and engraving requests are final once the order is placed, so check the spelling, font and location before you check out.
Can I engrave a logo or an image?
Not with Personalize: it engraves text, in letters and numbers. For a team, business or group logo, our Custom Shop laser-engraves logos on the 36oz and 46oz Limitless, sold by the case (15-unit minimum): get a quote.
Will a warranty replacement be engraved?
Not after the first 30 days: a warranty replacement issued after 30 days comes without the custom engraving. If an engraved bottle has a problem within its first 30 days, contact our team.
Do I need to register my bottle for the warranty?
No. Registration isn't required: the Limited Lifetime Warranty covers eligible drinkware bought directly from coldest.com, and your order is your proof of purchase. If you ever need it, start a claim through our return portal.
What if my bottle stops keeping drinks cold?
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers temperature retention on drinkware bought from coldest.com. Test it first: fill it with ice and keep the lid closed. Still warming fast? Start a claim through our return portal. We may ask for photos or a short video, and approved claims are repaired or replaced.
My lid leaks or broke. What should I do?
Check that the silicone seal sits flat inside the lid and the threads are clean, then screw the lid on until it stops, without forcing it. If a leakproof lid still leaks when closed, or a lid won't latch, start a claim through our return portal with a photo or short video: manufacturer defects and the leakproof guarantee are covered. Lost lids and damage from drops aren't.
I bought it on Amazon or TikTok Shop. Is it covered?
Not by our warranty. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee cover orders from coldest.com. For a bottle bought on Amazon, TikTok Shop or from another seller, returns and claims go through that platform or seller.
It was a gift. Can I still use the warranty?
Yes, if it was bought on coldest.com. Claims need the original order, so ask the person who gave it to you for the order number or the email used at checkout, then start a claim through our return portal.
Does the warranty cover dents, scratches or peeling?
Not dents or scratches. The warranty covers manufacturer defects, including temperature retention and the leakproof guarantee, but not normal wear (scuffs, scratches, dings), damage from drops, punctures or misuse, or cosmetic marks on a bottle that still works. If paint peels or the steel rusts without a drop or misuse, start a claim with photos through our return portal and the team will review it.
What if my design is sold out when I need a replacement?
Limited designs aren't always available for warranty replacements. When yours is gone, we may send a mystery design in the same size, or a discount code toward a future order.
What if it arrives damaged or doesn't look like the photos?
Email support@coldest.com with photos as soon as it arrives. Orders from coldest.com are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee, so the team can set up a replacement or a return.
Can I exchange it for a different design or size?
Yes, within 30 days: start at our return portal, where you can return it for a refund or exchange it for another product under our 30-day money-back guarantee. Engraved and final-sale items have their own rules: see Warranty & Returns.
Where can a name go on the Limitless Gallon?
Choose one of 3 locations: Horizontal Name on the front of the bottle, the smaller option; Horizontal Name on the back; or Vertical Name on the back, the largest of the three.
Can kids use the Limitless Gallon?
Children under 8 should use it only with adult supervision, because it includes small parts that are a choking hazard. Use extreme caution if it holds a hot drink.
Is shipping free?
Orders of $125 or more ship free within the contiguous US, based on the subtotal after discounts and before tax, with no code needed. Free shipping does not cover Alaska, Hawaii, or international orders.
