Highly functional sports cap.
I have many water bottles from most of the major brands. It’s a hobby of mine test them out, so I can tell friends and clients what I think is worth having. For the most part, I stay away from the plastic bottles these days due to inconsistencies with BPA and BPS and what is released from plastic, whether it has BPA or BPS in it or not. I’m more forgiving with lids and caps because there is less surface area and if using a vacuum bottle, then heat wont affect the plastic the same way, and the water is already consumed within hours of filling the bottle.
That being said, this cap really does fit on many of the standard size water bottles.
It doesn’t fit on the wider mouth bottles, but if you have any of the thinner bottles, you will have something very useful in your hands.
It’s most convenient when you active, because of the straw component. The parts are BPA free, but plastic will still leech into your water if you are putting it in a hot environment, so best use is with a doubled walled vacuum bottle, so the temperature stays cold or room temperature.
The cap is as good as claimed in the ad. It doesn’t leak in my bag the way a normal pop up lids can (and has) and its easy to flip up without have to give much thought.
