I have several double insulated cups and know exacty what to expect as far as if it measures uo to what I like and how it should perform. First, it comes with a double wall insulated cup and lid. Second, I filled it with ice and water 24 hours ago. Last night before going to bed there was a little bit of ice left in it. And this morning, the ice had melted. However, the water is still extremely cold and enjoyable. The lid has an opeing to sip out of. I think that opening definitely changes the speed of which the ice melts.
I am going to mention something that I really do not like about this cup. The size of it. It is a really thick and fat cup. It does not fit in my car cup holders, or very comfortably in my hands. It may seem unnoticable to others, but for me it is definitely something that I do not enjoy. It is definitely not an ON THE GO type of cup. I have given it to my daughter.
